What is a CPO Vehicle?

A CPO vehicle is one that has met the strict standards set by General Motors Corporation (GMC). Not every Cadillac can be categorized as a CPO. There are four main requirements that must be met.

• The vehicle cannot be more than six model years old.
• The vehicle must have fewer than 75,000 miles.
• The vehicle must pass a Carfax report and have no recalls.
• The vehicle must pass an inspection.

The mileage and age requirements are the first criteria that must be met. The vehicle history report is generated to make sure there are no recalls or liens on the title. This report gives you and us all the information on the vehicle's history, such as if the vehicle was involved in an accident or needed specific work performed.

Inspection

Certified GMC technicians inspect all vehicles that are being considered for the CPO program. The 172-point inspection includes the entire vehicle from end to end, both inside and outside. The following areas must be checked as complete and satisfactory.

• Road test
• Maintenance
• Tires and brake pads
• Functional
• Detailing
• Engine compartment (brakes, suspension, fuel system, heating/AC, ignition system, power steering, and fuel system)
• Under vehicle
• Interior
• Exterior

If any part of the vehicle does not pass inspection, the vehicle cannot be part of the CPO program until it's repaired and re-inspected.
